As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development practices with overarching business goals, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and maintain high performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain standards and foster innovation is a key aspect of daily activities, alongside mentoring team members and managing project progress to meet deadlines effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software architecture to enhance scalability and maintainability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety Surveillance.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices in custom software development.
- Experience in leading technical teams and managing complex software projects.
- Ability to design scalable and high-performance software solutions aligned with business needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
