Position Overview
We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our event team as Tournament & Event Concessions/Cashiers. In this role, you will be the face of our guest experience during sports tournaments & special events on weekends, as well as public usage hours and court rental patrons on the weekdays. You will handle food and beverage orders, process transactions accurately, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. - Greet guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and enter them into the POS system.
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Assist with basic food prep.
- Stock concession stands, coolers, and condiment stations before, during, and after events.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace complying with food safety regulations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to count change quickly and accurately.
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with diverse guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak tournament rush periods.
- Previous experience in retail, cash handling, or food service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Capability to lift and carry boxes, beverage crates, and other inventory items as needed.
