Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Watch in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support guests and staff while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with hotel personnel and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas while assisting with badge checks, directions, and other security-related support for hotel operations.
• Support hotel staff during high-traffic periods, special events, and after-hours operations by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
