Team Overview
The DHI and DataLink Support organization is responsible for developing and supporting critical insurance technology products that help TransUnion deliver data-driven solutions to customers across the insurance industry. This team consists of four product-focused development teams supporting multiple business-critical applications that contribute to TransUnion's insurance solutions portfolio. This role reports to Director of Software Development. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
- Serve as a key technical contributor on the DHI Online Scrum Team, developing and supporting enterprise applications that support TransUnion's Insurance business.
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of secure, scalable applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, Product Management, Project Management, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Play a significant role in the development and ongoing evolution of the TransUnion Telematics platform and related insurance products.
- Design and implement integrations with internal systems and external business partners while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Support architecture decisions, application modernization efforts, and cloud adoption initiatives that improve performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions that improve platform stability and user experience.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes, automated testing practices, and deployment pipelines to enable efficient software delivery.
- Ensure development activities align with security best practices, regulatory requirements, and enterprise software development standards.
- Contribute to project planning, solution estimation, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the development lifecycle.
Required Knowledge and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- 5-8+ years of software development experience building, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications utilizing the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, secure software development practices, and application lifecycle management in enterprise environments.
- Experience designing, supporting, and optimizing relational databases and data access strategies to ensure application performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET 5/6 for enterprise application development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and modern software development tools.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including database design, development, performance tuning, and complex querying.
- Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud platforms for application hosting, deployment, and support.
- Experience building, supporting, and maintaining CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Pay Scale Information:
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $150,000 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan.
