As our NC Programmer, you’ll be the creative mind behind turning designs into reality. Every program you create helps our CNC machines perform at their best, ensuring efficiency and precision. Your work directly impacts product quality, tool life, and overall shop performance — making you a key part of our engineering family.
What You’ll Do
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or equivalent.
- Strong English skills; French and/or German are a plus.
- A passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Comfort with CAD/CAM software (Catia V5 / OpenMind HyperMill) and 3D modeling.
- Flexibility, curiosity, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues.
- Nice-to-have: experience with Visual Basic for macros and a knack for improving machining strategies.
What You’ll Bring
- Create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs to produce high-quality parts.
- Review and optimize machining processes for maximum efficiency and tool longevity.
- Keep the CNC program directory organized and up to date.
- Collaborate on designing jigs, fixtures, and special equipment for CNC applications.
- Implement and track cost improvements.
- Ensure all programming follows current standards and best practices.
- Support the selection of new equipment and tools.
- Be a flexible problem-solver, ready to adapt programs and strategies as needed.
