Teaching AssistantA specialist school in Stroud is looking for a teaching assistant to start ASAP until the end of the academic year on a fixed term contract. Pay rate is £104 - £115 per day. This is a Catholic school that aims to inspire education, therapy, and care, allowing each child to reach their full potential. The needs of the children include, physical disabilities, profound and multiple learning disabilities, autism and sensory impairment ranges from ages 5 - 19. The school aims to give all of their students the opportunity to reach their full potential. The school's curriculum varies from academic subjects to sensory lessons and therapies, and skill based lessons to ensure each child's journey prepares them for life after school.There is a strong focus on ensuring each child feels safe and comfortable within their environment, enabling each child to have the skills they need for their life in and out of school. Someone who has a caring nature and a passion for wanting to help these children would be essential for a successful teaching assistant.
