Title: Senior Manager of Commercial Finance

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Manager of Commercial Finance to partner with Sales and Commercial Leadership in driving profitable growth across our retail, eCommerce, and direct-to-consumer channels. This role will lead customer profitability analysis, trade spend management, pricing strategy, revenue forecasting, and financial decision support across some of our most important customers and growth platforms.

The ideal candidate brings significant Food & Beverage CPG experience, a deep understanding of retailer economics, and hands-on experience supporting major customers such as Costco, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Kroger, and Albertsons, as well as digital channels including Amazon, Walmart.com, TikTok Shop, and DTC eCommerce. This individual must be exceptionally strong in Excel, highly data-driven, and capable of translating complex analyses into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to Sales, eCommerce, and Commercial leadership teams.

• Lead customer and channel profitability analysis across retail, marketplace, and DTC channels.

• Manage forecasting and reporting of trade spend, promotional investments, and gross-to-net deductions.

• Evaluate pricing, promotions, assortment decisions, and customer investments to maximize profitable growth.

• Support retailer negotiations and annual planning through robust financial modeling and scenario analysis.

• Develop and maintain customer, channel, and SKU-level financial models to support strategic decision-making.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership regarding revenue, margin, and profitability performance.

• Partner closely with Accounting to ensure accurate accruals and reporting of trade and contra-revenue programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including substantial experience within the Food & Beverage CPG industry.

• Proven experience supporting large retail customers such as Costco, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Kroger, and Albertsons.

• Deep understanding of:

  • Trade spend management

  • Gross-to-net forecasting

  • Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

  • Customer profitability analysis

  • Retail pricing and promotion strategies

  • Contra-revenue accounting

• Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, and large dataset management.

• Strong business partnering, communication, and presentation skills.
