Description
Make byrd impossible to scroll past, and help us turn more conversations into customers.
Starting asap, for at least 6 months
About byrd and the role
byrd is a Vienna-based fulfillment partner for e-commerce brands across Europe. We store, pick, pack, and ship for ambitious online brands, and we sell to founders, e-commerce managers, and operations leads.
In B2B, people buy from companies they trust. You'll help us earn that trust, first on social media and, as you grow, in our sales process too.
What you’ll do
Social media and design (your core)
Plan and publish content for our LinkedIn page and other relevant B2B channels that reaches the right people: e-commerce founders, e-commerce/logistics managers and operations leads
Create content that supports leads on their journey to becoming byrd customers, from first noticing us to trusting us as the best fulfillment partner for their brand
Turn what happens at byrd into posts that build credibility: warehouse insights, customer stories, expert tips, team moments, short videos
Create visuals, carousels and short videos with our brand templates
Spot trends and new formats early, and bring your own ideas to the table
Help our team become visible voices on LinkedIn
Track what your content achieves (reach in our target group, engagement, profile visits, inbound requests) and use it to decide what to do more or less of.
Sales enablement (projects that grow with you)
Create content that helps our sales team win customers: one-pagers, customer stories, FAQs
Explore where prospects drop off and test ideas that help them convert
Develop ideas and test them to improve conversion rates: better follow-ups, offers, proof points, case studies and customer references
Try out AI tools that make our sales and marketing work faster, for example for lead research, content drafts, or proposal preparation
Prototype and test small AI-supported workflows, for example for lead research, content drafts or proposal preparation
Who you are
We care more about your drive than your CV. If this sounds like you, you'll fit right in:
You're proactive: you see what needs doing and just start
You're curious, learn fast and like figuring things out
You have ideas, a feel for social media and an eye for what's trending
You write and speak fluent English. Good German (for example C1) is a plus
You enjoy trying new AI tools and making work smarter
You're enrolled at a university or college (business, marketing, communications or similar) and can commit about 11 hours a week for at least 6 months
Nice to have: first social media experience for a business, Canva or video editing, HubSpot or another CRM, Webflow, Zapier, Claude or similar, and interest in e-commerce or logistics.
Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. We'll help you learn on the job.
What success looks like
After the onboarding phase, you run byrd's LinkedIn page on your own (with access to feedback and support whenever you need it). You plan the month's posts, create the visuals and/or short videos, and publish without anyone pushing you. You've tried at least one new format nobody here had thought of, and you can tell us what worked and why.
You bring ideas before we ask and you become the real expert taking the lead. You know what gets engagement and what gets ignored, you don’t shy away from cross-functional cooperation. You can get as much support as you need, but you'll be the one shaping our social media presence.
If you want to stick with byrd, you can take on more responsibility and learn more in another field. Become an active part of how byrd wins customers, not just how we show up online. If you want to grow, this is where sales tasks become a bigger part of your role.
What we offer
Real responsibility from week one, working directly with our Head of Content & SEO and our revenue team
Room for your own ideas, with work that visibly shapes how byrd shows up
An environment of trust that allows you to learn from mistakes and experiments rather than being scared of them
Hands-on experience with AI tools in a real B2B marketing and sales setup
A look behind the scenes of a growing e-commerce logistics company
A clear path to grow into sales if that excites you
A team in our Vienna office in the 4th district and flexible hours around your lectures
€551,10 gross per month for 11 hours a week (paid 14 times a year), based on the retail collective agreement (KV Handel).
Option to expand your field of responsibility, working hours, and salary.
How to apply
We'd rather see you in action than read your CV.
Send us a short video in English (max. 1 minute). Tell us who you are and why byrd. Be creative, be yourself, no limits. No need to show your face if you don’t feel comfortable doing so.
Bonus: show us one idea for a LinkedIn post that would make an e-commerce founder stop scrolling.Online screening. A short call to get to know each other.
On-site interview in Vienna. Meet the team in our office and work on a small, practical task.
