What this job involves:

As a Senior Specialist Analytics Developer within JLL's Analytics Centre of Excellence, you'll serve as the most senior individual contributor driving technical excellence across complex analytics solutions. This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and collaborative mentorship, where you'll take ownership of quality and governance throughout the Develop and Deliver phases while consulting on solution viability during Discover and Define activities. Beyond building sophisticated analytics solutions that transform how JLL and our clients make data-informed decisions, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating the capabilities of Analytics Developers and Specialist Analytics Developers across the team through coaching and knowledge sharing. You'll work within our defined Analytics Lifecycle and Target Operating Model, ensuring every solution meets the highest standards while fostering a culture grounded in customer focus, collaboration, integrity and courage. Acting as deputy to the Team Lead when required, you'll partner closely with Account Analytics, Advanced Analytics, Sustainability Analytics, and key stakeholders including Azara product teams and Data Engineering to ensure seamless delivery of insights that drive measurable business value.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead technical delivery of complex analytics initiatives, defining solution architecture, data models and development standards while ensuring alignment with the Analytics Centre of Excellence Target Operating Model
• Build the most technically sophisticated analytics solutions using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python and Databricks, setting the standard for quality and innovation across the team
• Oversee quality assurance processes across your sub-team, conducting comprehensive code reviews, data validation and visualisation assessments to ensure all solutions meet production-ready standards before release
• Consult on new project intake by providing technical assessments of proposed solutions, advising on feasibility, effort estimation and optimal delivery approaches that inform prioritisation decisions
• Mentor and develop Analytics Developers and Specialist Analytics Developers through coaching, knowledge sharing and structured feedback cycles that continuously raise analytics practice standards
• Manage the publish and documentation process, ensuring all solutions are correctly deployed to the Azara production environment with comprehensive, accessible documentation
• Drive innovation by identifying and piloting opportunities to leverage AI and automation that deliver measurable efficiency gains across Analytics Centre of Excellence operations
• Partner with account teams, platform solutions teams and global stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical business solutions that deliver quantifiable value
• Lead sprint developments within an agile framework, effectively managing multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with peer Team Leads and the Senior Operations Lead

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in analytics delivery with 1+ years in a senior or technical specialist capacity within a business intelligence or analytics team
• Expert-level proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI with demonstrated ability to deliver complex, governed analytics solutions to production standard
• Strong technical capabilities in SQL, Python and Databricks for data transformation, processing and advanced analytics
• Proven track record of technical delivery within agile environments, including experience with sprint management and DevOps tooling
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated capacity to translate analytics into actionable business decisions and transformation
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytic concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining quality standards
• Experience integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and data models within large-scale analytics environments
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across business functions

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree in data science, analytics, statistics, computer science or related field
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for building automation flows and process optimization
• Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps or similar program management and version control platforms
• Background in real estate analytics, property technology or related industries
• Experience driving data fluency initiatives and promoting data-informed culture across diverse stakeholder groups
• Track record of implementing AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable operational improvements
• Previous experience working in global, distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Experience mentoring junior team members and facilitating technical skill development
