SAP FICO Functional Consultant | ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong hands-on SAP FICO functional consulting experience within complex enterprise environments
- Proven configuration experience across SAP FI and CO, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, and Profit Centre Accounting
- Strong experience working with SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or complex ECC environments
- Proven ability to translate Finance requirements into SAP functional designs and hands-on configuration
- Experience delivering SAP FICO projects across design, configuration, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP FICO and wider modules including SD, MM, and other Finance-related processes
- Confident working directly with Finance stakeholders, process owners, and SAP technical teams
- Fluent German and strong English communication skills
SAP FICO Functional Consultant | DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation, migration, or implementation programmes
- Knowledge of additional areas such as Product Costing, Material Ledger, Treasury, or Group Reporting
- Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA Finance functionality
- Strong understanding of Finance data migration, testing, reconciliation, and cutover activities
- Experience working across international or multi-country SAP environments
SAP FICO Functional Consultant | OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a fluent German SAP FICO Functional Consultant to support the delivery and ongoing development of SAP Finance solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on functional role covering SAP FI and CO, working directly with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. You will be involved across functional design, configuration, testing, integration, implementation, and ongoing optimisation.
The successful consultant will combine strong SAP FICO configuration expertise with the ability to communicate confidently with German-speaking business stakeholders. This would suit an established SAP Finance Consultant who is comfortable taking ownership of requirements and remaining hands-on throughout the full solution lifecycle.
