Description

Our Mission

Serving Christ by loving our neighbor through excellent, compassionate, and accessible healthcare.

NeighborHealth Center is a Christian, mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. We believe healthcare is more than treating disease—it is a ministry of loving our neighbors through excellent medical care, compassionate relationships, and faithful service to all who need it.

NeighborHealth seeks a Certified Nurse-Midwife who views midwifery and women's health care as a Christian vocation and who is committed to advancing our mission through the daily practice of excellent, compassionate, whole-person care.

Financial Incentive Programs & Benefits

As a Federally Qualified Health Center serving a Health Professional Shortage Area, NeighborHealth Center qualifies for several financial incentive programs that can significantly supplement provider compensation. Providers with educational loan debt may be eligible for the federal National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program of up to $75,000 tax-free over two years and the NC Office of Rural Health (NC ORH) Loan Repayment Program of up to $60,000 over four years. Providers without educational loan debt may qualify for the NC ORH High Needs Service Bonus of up to $60,000 over four years.

NeighborHealth also offers competitive compensation, productivity incentives, employer-paid malpractice insurance, generous PTO and holidays totaling more than 7 weeks annually, dedicated CME time and allowance, 32 hours of scheduled patient care and 8 hours of protected administrative time weekly, minimal call supported by a 24/7 nurse triage, and Epic with Abridge AI documentation.

Position Summary

NeighborHealth's Certified Nurse-Midwife provides comprehensive outpatient women's health and prenatal care, including routine prenatal and postpartum care, preventive gynecology and well-woman care, contraception and family planning, preconception care, and office procedures. NeighborHealth provides prenatal care for a growing program supporting more than 300 deliveries annually; attending deliveries, inpatient rounding, and hospital call are not part of this role. This is an on-site outpatient position.

An on-site 340B pharmacy opening in Fall 2026 and an additional Raleigh-area location planned beginning in 2027 reflect NeighborHealth's continued growth.

Our Care Model

Our faith shapes not only why we provide care, but how we provide care.

We intentionally care for the whole person by addressing each patient's physical, behavioral, social, and spiritual needs through a distinctly Christian model of care in collaboration with behavioral health clinicians, care managers, care coordinators, pharmacists, churches, and other community partners.

Join Our Team

We believe providers should never have to choose between practicing excellent care and fulfilling our mission. At NeighborHealth, the two are inseparable. If you are looking for a place where clinical excellence, meaningful relationships, and Christian vocation come together in outpatient women's health and prenatal care, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
