We are looking for a Student Marketing and Graphic Design Coordinator to join our team in Kamloops, BC. This opportunity is ideal for a student looking to gain valuable experience in a corporate environment while building practical skills that extend beyond classroom projects. You will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, supporting marketing initiatives across multiple business units throughout Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

• Create and update marketing materials including brochures, advertisements, presentations, social media graphics, signage, promotional merchandise, and branded collateral. 

• Use Adobe Creative Suite to edit and maintain existing design files, templates, and marketing assets. 

• Support multiple company brands and helping maintain corporate brand standards. 

• Assist with website updates and content management using WordPress CMS. 

• Create, schedule, and monitor social media content using Sprout Social and other social media management tools. 

• Assist with email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, including content creation, distribution, and performance reporting. 

• Capture photography and video content for marketing, recruitment, operations, and community initiatives. 

• Operate drones for photography and videography projects in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. 

• Assist with trade shows, job fairs, conferences, community events, and promotional activities, including booth setup and attendance. 

• Support digital asset management by organizing and maintaining photo, video, and design libraries.

• Assist with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data entry, database maintenance, and contact management.

• Generate basic marketing reports, campaign summaries, and analytics dashboards.

• Support digital advertising initiatives, including Meta and Google Ads campaigns.

• Assist with promotional merchandise and company store initiatives.

• Provide day-to-day support to internal stakeholders and respond to questions related to branding, communications, marketing materials, and company standards.

• Event planning, coordination, or promotional experience

• Perform additional administrative and project coordination tasks as required. 

You Possess

• Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related post-secondary program
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft 365
• Ability to confidently open, navigate, edit, and update existing design files created by others
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and branding
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging visual and written content
• Professional and outgoing personality with strong customer service and stakeholder support skills
• Ability to learn and communicate brand standards while helping others understand and apply them consistently
• Experience with WordPress Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Experience using Sprout Social or similar social media management platforms
• Experience using Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms
• Photography, videography, and photo editing experience
• Video editing experience
• Basic understanding of digital advertising platforms, including Meta Ads and Google Ads
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Experience working within established brand guidelines
• Knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting tools
