Job Details
Manage Treasury Operations and banking relations
- Oversee efficient management of day-to-day cash flows, along with the administration of ACH transfers, wires, and other treasury functions across the organization
- Manage the cash pool activity out of AB Finco Ltd and set up in-house banking
- Manage the short-term cash forecast process with local finance
- Maintain operational banking relationships and lead annualized global reviews
- Work closely with the business unit finance to provide exceptional global cash management services
- Oversee in-house bank operations, including working capital flows, pooling structure, and risk management strategies
- Liaise with corporate legal and tax teams to execute all intercompany transfers and cash repatriation processes
Lead Implementation of Treasury Projects and Process Integrations
- Enhance the effectiveness of the global cash pool by onboarding more participant entities
- Lead the transition of in sourcing the Treasury Center from FTI
- Collaborate with Tax, Accounting & Legal to implement in-house banking and the multi-notional cash pool
- Support M&A activities and integration of treasury operations of acquired entities
- Formalize integration processes to support onboarding of new entities and ensure adherence and incorporation of existing AB processes and procedures
- Partner with Corporate Development and deal teams to perform due diligence on potential targets and divestitures, while homogenizing and streamlining closing processes
- Develop and execute strategy for migrating all operational activity to selected regional banks
Ensure Compliance and Governance
- Act as the liaison to all subsidiaries on matters concerning cash and working capital, presenting performance on service level agreements as appropriate
- Support company credit card programs, including regular monitoring and annual reviews
- Lead governance efforts for AmerisourceBergen’s SWIFT BIC, signing off on attestations and ensuring adherence to controls and protocols
- Establish treasury services across legacy subsidiaries, creating an efficient, accessible, and uniform platform in line with existing policies
- Support capital markets efforts, including bank and rating agency presentations and discussions, deal renewal and analysis, and compliance proformas
- Ensure efficient structure and effective controls for international and domestic bank accounts, including signer and portal administration and know your customer (KYC) processes
- Maintain an effective internal control structure to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Profile & Skills:
Graduate of business school or equivalent with ten years of experience in a global Treasury organization - Sound understanding of Accounting and Tax, preferably a Chartered Accountant
- Understanding of Capital Markets, cash pools, FX markets, and experience working with Treasury systems
- Experience leading and managing global team members and shared service centers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, management reporting and communicating effectively with various leaders
- Accountable, self-starter with a focus on process improvement to drive value

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
12+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, banking, accounting, or related finance functions required.
8+ years of experience in a management capacity preferred.
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Finance Accountant (CFA), or other relevant finance certification preferred.
Knowledge of treasury operations, liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking structures, and internal controls.
Skill in analyzing cash flow, financial data, and operational treasury issues to support decisions and execution.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely results in a controlled environment.
Ability to communicate clearly with finance leadership, business stakeholders, auditors, and external banking partners.
Ability to lead teams, enforce process discipline, and drive continuous improvement.
