  • Complete functional and behavioural assessments to understand risk, causal and contributing factors relating to behaviours of concern
  • Develop and implement evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support Plans that focus on quality of life, skill development and the reduction of restrictive practices
  • Work closely with people supported, families, advocates and support networks to achieve positive outcomes
  • Provide coaching, training and modelling to support workers, operational leaders and other stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies and adjust plans as required
  • Design and analyse relevant data to measure outcomes and support continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation
  • Support reflective practice and capability building across service delivery teams
  • Contribute to organisational clinical risk management, including assessments, referrals, incident responses and capacity-building activities
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective support
  • Keep up to date with contemporary positive behaviour support practices, legislation and sector developments
