The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a commitment to accuracy, and experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment where documentation, traceability, and material control are essential to operational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure manufacturing records are complete, accurate, and properly retained.

Work Order Management & Traceability

  • Review and verify manufacturing work orders for completeness and accuracy.

  • Ensure all required manufacturing and inspection sign-offs are completed.

  • Maintain process traceability throughout all stages of production.

  • Verify route sheets, travelers, and production documentation are properly completed and controlled.

  • Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering personnel to resolve documentation discrepancies.

Material Management & WIP Control

  • Issue production kits and materials to manufacturing personnel.

  • Track Work-In-Process (WIP) inventory throughout the manufacturing cycle.

  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions and material traceability records.

  • Coordinate material movements to support production schedules and minimize disruptions.

  • Assist with inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and material audits.

Product Labeling & Identification

  • Create and print product, lot, packaging, and shipping labels.

  • Verify labeling accuracy and compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

  • Maintain controlled label templates and associated records.

  • Ensure proper identification of all materials and finished products throughout the manufacturing process.

Production Planning & Resource Support

  • Support the Production Supervisor in daily production planning and scheduling activities.

  • Assist with resource allocation to support on-time manufacturing objectives.

  • Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks.

  • Communicate material shortages, production delays, and compliance concerns to management.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, inventory control, materials management, production control, or compliance-related functions.
