- Architect solutions across Data 360, Agentforce / AIForce and Enterprise Security - including the trust and governance guardrails that keep autonomous agents safe
- Partner as a peer at CTO level with the CISOs and CTOs of our largest customers
- Stand at the forefront of the AI transformation
Are you passionate about Customer Success and would you like to work at the forefront of Digital Innovation at one of the most exciting CRM companies?
This is your stage if you:
- Love architecture
- Seek real ownership
- Have a hands-on, always-learning attitude
- Are business-fluent in German - a must for this role
- Want to be part of the most exciting Salesforce projects in the DACH region
- Lead with empathy and act in line with Salesforce's core values
Role Description
Our team collaborates with our Customers and Partners during project cycle to share their extensive knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform and product suite. Combined with their experience in technical architecture, enterprise integration, and business solution implementation, they directly drive toward the best possible solutions. They paint a solution vision, architect the system and provide guidance during the implementation. Based on seniority they are involved in the building of solutions (configuration and coding) and/or leading diverse teams of resources in delivery or in strategic aspects:
We are seeking a visionary technical leader who bridges deep architecture expertise with high-level enterprise strategy. In this key position, you will drive complex Salesforce transformations, define enterprise-wide architecture frameworks and ensure that cutting-edge data platforms and AI-driven agents operate under the highest IT security and compliance standards. We are a great team of Enterprise Architects and we're looking for reinforcement to grow with us.
Our team works with customers and partners throughout the project cycle: we paint the solution vision, architect the system and guide the implementation, combining deep Salesforce platform knowledge with experience in technical architecture, enterprise integration and business solution implementation.
- Trusted advisor and peer: Acting as a key strategic advisor, you align directly with CISOs, CTOs, CIOs, Enterprise Architects and Salesforce Lead Architects and Technical Steering Committees to scale our ecosystem around Customer 360 and Data 360, Agentforce / AIForce Architecture and Enterprise Security, translating business goals into secure, future-proof architectural blueprints. You are highly effective across technical and business roles, from developer level to mid-management and up to C-level.
- CTO / Program Architect: In practice, this role operates as the CTO / Program Architect, owning program architecture, the design-board interface and technical escalation across the full engagement lifecycle.
- Enterprise AI Harness: You'll help us build an Enterprise AI Harness, where Data 360 acts as the trusted context layer for every agent. If terms like skills, harness, prompts and grounding already mean something to you, you should seriously consider joining us.
- Travel and flexibility: Travel to customer sites is required for this role; at the same time, we offer flexible working models for phases where on-site presence at the customer is not necessary.
Note: Security and AI are the core of this role, not a side topic. You embed security into every architecture from day one, get hands-on when it matters and use AI deliberately to make solutions for our largest customers both faster and safer. A deep security focus and a hands-on, AI-first mindset are what will make you successful here.
Your Impact
Through our extended onboarding program (certification, training, knowledge transfer, hands-on experience, close work with other Technical and Program Architects), you will grow with the demands of our most strategic programs and deliver outstanding customer success.
To be successful in the role you:
- Shape the Data 360 strategy: Architect scalable data foundations using Salesforce Data 360, focusing on real-time ingestion, identity resolution, data harmonization and zero-copy integrations
- Own the strategic architecture: Define and execute the enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture roadmap across the Customer 360 platform (Sales, Service, Data, Security)
- Harness AI and automation: Establish robust governance, trust layers and architectural guardrails for Salesforce Agentforce / AIForce (Agent Orchestration, Trusted Agent Governance, Prompt Engineering, Trust Boundary Management)
- Secure the enterprise: Design end-to-end security architectures (Identity & Access Management, Encryption, Shield, Event Monitoring, Data Privacy/GDPR) to mitigate risks in complex multi-org landscapes
- Govern APIs and integrations: Define and enforce secure API integration patterns across the Salesforce ecosystem, including JWT Bearer Flow, External Client Apps (and migration from legacy Connected Apps), OAuth scopes, certificate-based authentication and named credentials, to ensure secure and auditable system-to-system access
- Lead and guide the engagement: Act as lead architect by coordinating and aligning the work of multiple architects; guide the evaluation of business and technical requirements and review project vision, implementation approach and key artefacts
- Align delivery and solution evaluation: Align with project and engagement managers to support planning and implementation in agile delivery cycles, in close collaboration with the customer; direct early solution evaluation, including proactive issue management and effective engagement with executives, the account team, engineering and product management
- Mentor and grow others: Mentor diverse teams — customers, partners and colleagues — in technical delivery as well as in communication strategies and executive influence
- Drive internal initiatives: Identify, lead or contribute to pivotal internal initiatives such as innovations and building a strategic brand
- Support pre-sales: Where required, support pre-sales activities to position Salesforce Services
Basic Requirements
Language requirement (mandatory): Professional business fluency in German is a hard requirement for this role. The position is customer-facing in Berlin / GEO EMEA Central and involves leading technical workshops and stakeholder alignments in German. Fluent English is required in addition for international collaboration within Salesforce.
- Professional experience: Proven track record as a Principal/Program Architect, Enterprise Architect or Technical Architect in complex Salesforce ecosystems
- Deep security focus: Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce Enterprise Security, Data Protection (Shield, Event Monitoring), Governance and security posture assessments
- Cutting-edge tech stack: Hands-on expertise architecting solutions around Data 360 and Agentforce / AIForce Harnessing (Trust Layer controls)
- Technical leadership: Deep mastery of core technical foundations (Apex, LWC, event-driven architectures, SSO/OAuth, APIs / API Management, CI/CD, MCP & A2A), including coding experience in object-oriented languages
- Well-Architected patterns: Strong familiarity with the Salesforce Well-Architected Framework and its patterns, applying them to ensure trusted, adaptable and future-fit architecture decisions
- Agent orchestration & trusted agent governance: Practical experience designing multi-agent orchestration patterns and running autonomous agents safely at enterprise scale, with trust boundaries, permissions and auditability in place
- Empathy & Salesforce values: You lead with empathy and consistently act in line with Salesforce's core values (Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, Equality) with customers and colleagues alike
- Hands-on mentality & AI-first mindset: A hands-on approach with a clear sense of enterprise architecture — comfortable moving between strategic design and the details when needed. An AI-first mindset with genuine curiosity to learn new technologies and actively drive transformations, not just oversee them
- Team player mentality: A collaborative, team-first attitude — you actively support your fellow architects, share knowledge openly and contribute to a strong team culture
- Flexible working style: Comfortable working independently on engagements as well as within large, cross-functional team setups, adapting your working style to the scale of the program and willing to take ownership of problems
- Communication: Strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills
- Certifications: Relevant Salesforce certifications or a demonstrated willingness to acquire relevant certifications in the near term
Preferred Requirements
- Architecture credentials: Relevant equivalent experience as an Enterprise Architect within the Salesforce environment or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or advanced architectural credentials (System / Application Architect)
- AI model providers and tooling: Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude, OpenAI or Google Gemini, etc. and with AI-assisted developer tooling such as VSCode (and comparable AI coding/agent environments)
- Integration and analytics: Experience with MuleSoft / API-led connectivity, Tableau/Analytics and Informatica as components of the Enterprise AI Harness; detailed understanding of web services, data modeling and enterprise application integration patterns (ESB and/or ETL tools)
- Large programs and agile delivery: Experience across the Customer 360 platform (Sales, Service, Data 360, Agentforce), multi-SI and large transformation programs, in building Centers of Excellence (CoE) and with Scrum / Agile methodology and cross-functional, virtual teams
- Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree (Computer Science or related field) or equivalent practical experience
- Community: You have achieved Agentblazer Legend 2026 status
- Fun fact welcome: A hidden talent, a passion outside of work, a creative hobby or anything else you're passionate about. We love getting to know the person behind the architect and build a strong team. Sharing is entirely voluntary and does not influence our selection decision.
