The opportunity
Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.
We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.
How you’ll make an impact
1. You will be responsible for executing on-site commissioning and testing activities during deployment project of power grid integration.
2. You will be responsible for technical customer support such as troubleshooting, repairing, and testing activities regardless of whether on-site or remote during in/out of warranty period.
3. You will execute the field technical activity, service engineer shall coordinate with Hitachi Energy factory engineer, sub-suppliers and subcontractors to fulfill the requirement.
4. You will support sales activity of operation and maintenance business development as a core member of technical competence.
5. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
6. Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
1. You hold a bachelor's degree.
2. At least 3 years’ experience of field maintenance or construction of power grid systems.
3. Basic knowledge of power grid industry and business aspect Skill of operation and maintenance activity for substation equipment, technical knowledge of power grid system configuration and knowledge of technical documentation and drawing related to power grid system. Proficiency in JEC, JEM and Electrical equipment technical standards.
4. High fluency level speaking, reading and writing skill in Japanese is required. (Native level speaking, reading and writing skill in Japanese).
5. Experience of business communication with domestic and overseas suppliers. Fair communication in English.
6. Familiar with IEC standards is advantage.
7. Japanese certificate and license related to electrical activities is advantage.
