Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving complex problems that impact multiple components. The professional collaborates closely with different teams to ensure seamless system performance and reliability, while continuously adapting to evolving technical environments and business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system stability and performance through proactive issue identification and resolution.
- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on incident management and resolution strategies.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Experience with distributed data processing and handling large-scale datasets using PySpark.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system behaviors and troubleshoot effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments and integration of PySpark applications within these platforms.
- Ability to optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource efficiency.
- Knowledge of data pipeline architectures and real-time data processing concepts.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
