THE JOB:

Step up to the center of the action as a Server II in our TAP Sports Pub at MGM Grand Detroit! If you thrive in an energetic sports pub atmosphere and are passionate about delivering premier guest hospitality, we want you on our team. In this role, you’ll welcome guests, guide them through our dynamic food and beverage menus, execute flawless table service with a sense of urgency, and keep the energy high from kickoff to the final check. THE STARTING RATE: $12.23 with TIPS

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome

• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages

• Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach

• Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment

• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations

• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Five years of Food and Beverage experience in a high-paced environment with food service experience preferred

• Ability to work a varied shift to include weekend, holidays, and evenings
