About the role
Senior Manager - Group Planning & Reporting – Customer Markets
Are you looking to broaden your enterprise-wide finance, planning and stakeholder partnering experience?
An exciting 12-month max term opportunity has become available within Group Finance for a Senior Manager, Group Planning & Reporting. This role offers the chance to work at the center of AGL's planning, forecasting and performance reporting activities, providing critical insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead enterprise-wide planning, forecasting and performance reporting across Group and Customer Markets.
Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to support executive decision-making and business performance.
Drive best-practice forecasting, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems.
Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge financial assumptions, identify opportunities and manage business risks.
Oversee external reporting requirements, regulatory requests and key governance processes.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, building capability and delivering exceptional outcomes across the finance function.
Who We're Looking For
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline and experience within a complex industry
Post graduate qualifications (CA/CPA, MBA)
Experiencing leading a high performing team
Proven partnering with senior management and influencing stakeholders of varying levels of seniority
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and planning skills
Motivated, self-starter with flexible and collaborative work style
Experience implementing best practice management reporting and forecasting processes
Continuous improvement mind set
