Receptionist – Luxury Boutique Hotel

We are delighted to be assisting a family-owned luxury boutique hotel set in a picturesque coastal village in West Sussex. They are looking for a warm and personable Receptionist to join their friendly front-of-house team.

Home to individually styled bedrooms, beautiful gardens and a choice of dining experiences, this charming hotel welcomes guests looking to relax and enjoy everything the surrounding area has to offer. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Hotel Receptionist who genuinely enjoys creating memorable guest experiences.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as a Receptionist…

• £26,248 per annum plus circa £3,000 service charge
• Working 39 hours per week
• 5 days out of 7, including weekends
• A mixture of early shifts from 7.30am to 4.00pm and late shifts from 2.30pm to 10.30pm
• Joining a welcoming and supportive hotel team

Responsibilities as a Receptionist…

• Providing a warm and professional welcome to guests throughout their stay
• Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
• Handling room and dining reservations, enquiries and guest requests
• Using Guestline and ResDiary to manage bookings and guest information
• Building a good rapport with guests and delivering attentive, personable service
• Assisting with general reception duties and ensuring the front desk runs smoothly throughout your shift

The ideal Receptionist will have previous experience working on reception within a hotel environment. Experience using Guestline is not essential, as training can be provided. Most importantly, you will be friendly, engaging and approachable, with excellent customer service skills and a genuine team-player mentality.
