Location: The Wellington Hospital Outpatients (Golders Green and Elstree)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week between Monday-Friday (volunteer Saturday shift Elstree 0800-1300)

Shifts: 7.5 hour shifts between 0800-2000

Contract type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Radiographer to join our Outpatients Imaging team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC. The Wellington Hospital is the UK's largest independent hospital, with over 260 beds and 1,000 employees. We are internationally recognised for delivering complex care across a range of specialties, including oncology, cardiology, intensive care, neuroscience and vascular services.

All our sites have state-of-the-art MRI scanners, ensuring the highest clinical imaging quality. We have six MRI scanners, including three 1.5T and three 3T systems. We also have an intraoperative MRI (iMRI) scanning unit integrated with a digital theatre, supporting advanced neuro imaging including functional, perfusion and spectroscopy scans. Our cutting-edge CT scanners deliver exceptional image quality, reduced scanning times and minimal radiation exposure.

Working across our Golders Green and Elstree Outpatients departments, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across MRI, CT, General X-ray and DEXA. As part of a close-knit team, you'll work with both adult and paediatric patients across a wide range of specialties, including musculoskeletal, neurology, gynaecology and urology. Collaborating closely with Radiologists, Consultants and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll deliver exceptional patient care while using state-of-the-art Siemens MRI and GE CT equipment.

You'll be involved in a varied caseload across MRI, CT, General X-ray and DEXA, supporting services across both outpatient locations. From performing diagnostic examinations and cannulation to contributing to service development, patient pathways and quality improvement initiatives, you'll play an important role in maintaining the outstanding standards our patients expect. As a senior member of the team, you'll also support the training and development of colleagues while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the imaging service.

Whether you're currently working predominantly in CT or MRI, full support, upskilling and refresher training in DEXA and General X-ray will be provided. We're seeking a Senior Radiographer with the flexibility, passion and team-focused approach to broaden their skills and contribute across all areas of the service.

What you'll bring:

• HCPC Registration
• Experience in MRI and/or CT and General Radiography
• Willingness to work across X-ray services and train in DEXA imaging
• Cannulation competency or willingness to develop this skill
• Strong understanding of patient care, radiation protection and clinical governance
• A flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to thrive in a small team environment
