About the Job:

As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you will play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience from the moment patients walk through our doors. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, supporting front office operations, coordinating care, and ensuring accurate patient information is maintained.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographics, registration, and insurance information within the electronic medical record.
• Schedule appointments and assist in coordinating patient care needs.
• Respond to patient phone calls and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
• Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and outside offices to support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience while building meaningful connections within the community.
• Support office operations and assist at other practice locations as needed.

Who You Are:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a Patient Service Representative or in a medical office preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to professionally and diplomatically resolve conflicts and patient concerns.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to support multiple office locations when needed.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience in a public-facing customer service role, preferably within healthcare.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office workflows.
• Working knowledge of Epic EMR and common Microsoft Office applications.
