Who are we hiring?
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for handling all administrative functions for the Production Department within the Creative Studio. The Production Coordinator will be proactive, highly engaged, meticulously organized, attentive to detail, and with excellent communication skills. They will find excitement in this behind-the-scenes function that is a key part of bringing creative and brand strategy to life.
What will you do?
- Assist Production teams with administrative duties including but not limited to department calendar management, reconciliation of invoices and expenses, maintenance of rosters, trackers & production best practices booklet, vendor outreach/onboarding/management, external vendor calendar scheduling.
- Interface with many internal departments, maintain confidential information and lend support with initiatives.
- Act as note taker in select production related meetings; distribute accurate and timely documentation and meeting minutes on regular basis.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with internal office and venue photography pulls and framing requests.
- Document file management including all releases and waivers.
- Assist with bookings related needs for internal studio, color, green, voice over and recording rooms.
- Assist with department budget reconciliation.
- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
What do you need to succeed?
- 1-3 years as a production assistant or coordinator in office.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate a fluid environment with varying projects/priorities/tasks.
- Extremely organized, calm under pressure, and a quick problem solver.
- Proactive, intuitive and eager to roll up your sleeves to pitch in where necessary.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office- Excel is a must).
- Team player with a problem-solving mentality.
- Ability to work autonomously while having a clear sense of when to seek counsel from the department.
- Motivated to learn.
- Develop understanding, fluency, and mastery of projects and inputs in order to become day -to-day Point of Contact
- A sense of urgency balanced with the ability to prioritize and stay focused.
- Behavior consistent with MSG values.
- Have an interest in production and/or marketing.
- Have an interest in Sports and Entertainment.
- Must be available nights and weekends and holidays.
