What this job involves- 

The Business Analyst will work closely with Technology Lead, Finance Manager, and client to deliver and analyze a wide range of financial reports to support business planning and strategic decision-making. This role will be heavily focused around reporting creation and management.

 

• Planning and organizing – establish course of action to accomplish goals and evaluates results, develops schedules and task/people assignments, can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals, uses resources effectively and efficiently
• Update and maintain client reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annually cadence
• Data Management - Ability to process large amounts of data in an organized manner. 

• Technical Learning - Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge; is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge; does well in technical courses and seminars. 
• Highly proficient (Advanced Skills) with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, SQL are a plus.
• Demonstrated information management, analytics, and data profiling skills
• Ability to work with various levels of peers including analysts, developers and executives regarding complex business and data related issues.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate projects. Manage task timelines and deliverable schedules, recognize, and share risks and roadblocks.
• Good understanding of data quality management.
•  Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes.
• Willingness to support process improvement initiatives
• Provide finance team support as needed

 

Requirements: 

• Successful candidates will possess a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 2-3 years of experience
• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including internal finance team and client business leadership
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand big picture
• Flexible and adaptable to tasks assigned
• A high degree of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office applications. PeopleSoft and Oracle knowledge is plus.
