Senior Architectural Leader
Miami, FL $200,000 – $220,000 Base + 20% Performance Bonus Full Relocation Assistance Provided
A premier design firm is seeking a strategic and technical expert to drive the operational success and expansion of our dedicated Education Market division. This leadership position opens due to an internal promotion a testament to our client’s deeply rooted culture of upward mobility and career advancement. Managing a talented team of eight professionals, you will balance high-level regional growth strategies with hands-on operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
· Team Leadership & Mentorship: Direct, resource, and develop an existing 8-person production and design team, coordinating with HR to champion long-term career planning and performance management.
· Business Development & Public Relations: Fuel market expansion through aggressive pursuit strategies, proposal development, and high-impact client engagement. Deliver compelling public presentations and serve as a primary industry communicator.
· Operational & Financial Oversight: Partner with the Market Leader to manage resource planning, project delivery timelines, and critical financial metrics, including utilization rates, backlog tracking, and revenue forecasting.
· Quality & Project Execution: Collaborate with project managers to ensure design work meets rigorous scope, budget, and regulatory benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
· Regulatory Expertise: Master-level command of Florida Building Codes is non-negotiable; all candidates must demonstrate rigorous experience applying these local standards.
· Communication Mastery: Elite public speaking, business development acumen, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
· Educational Background: A Master’s Degree in Architecture or a highly related field is strongly preferred.
