As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations. You will be driving a variety of trucks, including flatbed, box, and tanker trucks, depending on the needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks and follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods and materials from the truck
- Plan and follow the most efficient route for each delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Perform regular maintenance on trucks, such as checking oil and tire pressure
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times
- Report any accidents or incidents to management immediately
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver
- Ability to read and follow GPS and maps
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed
