Msuez Uk is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations within the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a truck and trailer combination to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Inspect and maintain the truck and trailer, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
• Load and unload goods and materials from the truck using proper equipment and techniques
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
• Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and trailer at all times
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to operate and maintain a truck and trailer combination
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• High school diploma or equivalent.
