About The Role
The purpose of the role of a Registered Nurse is to ensure the clinical care of patients at the Mater Hospital is provided in a person centered care, within the philosophy, mission and values of St Vincent’s health Australia.
A Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all patient care delivered is done so within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse and by adhering to policies and procedures of the Mater Hospital and St Vincent’s health Australia (SVHA).
Actively support consumers to make informed decisions about their treatment and ongoing care.
Ensure consumers are aware of their rights responsibilities and how to provide feedback.
Uphold the expected standards of service excellence.
About You
APHRA registration
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Minimum 1-year acute hospital experience as an RN
Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge in the specific area of practice with a commitment to professional development and clinical teaching.
Ability to clinically manage one’s self, and others when required, to create a transformational leadership environment.
