Analog Devices is seeking a Director, Research Science Engineering to drive innovation in next-generation Power Electronics for the rapidly growing data center, energy and robotics markets. The candidate will be part of a multifunctional team that defines, develops and delivers process technology and system solutions for ADI’s power product platforms. We are looking for an engineering leader with a strong background in power and experience in bridging the gap between application needs and process technology development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand market needs in data center, energy and robotics markets.
- Define optimum circuit topologies and process technologies for these applications.
- Design and test proposed solutions in the lab.
- Collaborate with product development, applications and process technology teams to deliver new power solutions to market.
- Create and nurture team as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced degree or 20+ years of industry experience in power electronics.
- Proven expertise in delivering new power solutions to market
- Strong technical background in power circuit design, simulation, implementation and hands-on lab measurement.
- Experience in working with advanced process technology and packaging teams including wide band gap FETs and power modules.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills, including experience with application notes and customer support.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional, multidisciplinary engineering team.

Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
