Job Description

Tremend is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our clients’ most complex and challenging problems across different industries. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions. Responsibilities:

• Build the ultimate service environment for over 150 developers
• Create and nurture new ways to deliver secure, reliable, and highly available, business-critical software
• Help us spread the DevOps love and culture throughout the company
• Provide custom solutions for custom projects, as an autonomous engineer and as part of our team
• Build infrastructure as code from the ground up
• Provide support for our teams and clients
• Be Agile, breathe Agile and discover the fun in Agile
• Experience with Azure services

Qualifications:

Ops & Infrastructure

• Advanced Linux setup & operation
• System and network security & incident mitigation
• Caching solutions: Redis, Memcache
• Web servers: Traefik, Nginx

Provisioning

• Terraform & Terragrunt

CI/CD

• SCM: Azure DevOps, GitHub
• Any combination of: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines
• Artifact management
• SonarQube

Deployment

• Docker, Docker Compose
• Orchestrators: Kubernetes, Rancher
• CDNs

Monitoring, performance

• ELK stack,
• Prometheus
• Grafana, Graphite, stats

Programming

• Bash
• Python
• Understanding the microservices design patterns
• Basic understanding of how Java/Node.js operate

DB

• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot SQL (any combination): MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL
• NoSQL (any combination): MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch

Azure Cloud

• Proactively involved in cost reduction
• Work with Hub & Spoke network topologies and on-premises integrations
• Familiar with Microsoft Entra  ecosystem
• Troubleshoot microservices using App Insights
• Implemented Workload Identity for applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service
• Familiar with Azure services used to decouple applications: Azure ServiceBus
