Leasing Administrator | Jersey City, NJ · $25–$30/hour
About the Role: A property management company overseeing a 1,000-unit portfolio is looking for a organized, proactive Leasing Administrator to manage application review, lease generation, and unit readiness coordination. This is a full-time, in-office role focused purely on the administrative side of leasing — no showings or tenant relations — and leverages new technology to streamline the process. Property management experience isn't required; the focus is on core organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Application Review & Approval
- Review tenant applications against established criteria (income, etc.)
- Approve or deny applications based on criteria
Lease Generation
- Generate leases for approved applicants
- Leverage technology to streamline lease processing
Unit Readiness Coordination
- Coordinate unit readiness with the on-site team
Qualifications
- Organized, proactive, and communicative
- Comfortable managing a high-volume portfolio independently
- Property management experience not required but a plus
- Available full-time, in-office in Jersey City (9 AM–5 PM preferred; 10 AM–6 PM acceptable)
