Position: Director of Rehabilitation (PT/OT/SLP)
Shift: Full-Time
Pay Range: $60.00 - $68.00/hr
Location: Puget Sound Care, 4001 Capital Mall Dr SW, Olympia, WA 98502
Position Summary:
The Director of Rehabilitation Services directs the three rehab departments of physical, occupational, and speech therapy to ensure the highest quality of rehab services in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and CMS guidelines.

What you will do:
- Provide professional clinical services
- Carry out education and training activities, clinical consultation, supervision, and administration
- Demonstrate professional knowledge and skills in applying a wide range of theories, principles, and methodologies of occupational therapy
- Collaborate with other members of the Interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Liaison with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needs
Must have:
- Must have valid Washington PT/OT/SLP license that is in good standing
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Specialize in content areas such as hand specialty ergonomics, blind/visual rehabilitation assistance technology, functional capacity examination, polytrauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health, driver rehabilitation, home based primary care, etc.
- Must have functional knowledge of payer reimbursement
- Must have functional knowledge of labor management and strategies
- Must have functional knowledge of supply budgets
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Must exercise good body mechanics at all times
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
