CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Water Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Team in Albany, NY. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers on water and wastewater projects that support critical community infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience, build your technical skills, and contribute to projects that make a meaningful impact from day one.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects that improve community resilience and public health
• Support the development of technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates under the guidance of experienced engineers
• Apply engineering principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to complete design and analysis tasks for water and wastewater systems
• Gain hands-on experience through field visits, site investigations, and collaboration with project teams on water and wastewater facilities

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field required
• No experience required; prior internships and/or relevant coursework preferred
• Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
• Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $80,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
