BMS Engineer (Building Management System)

Location: Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya/Pathum Thani, Thailand
 

Purpose: Manage, monitor, and optimize the Building Management System to ensure integrated control and monitoring of all building systems for optimal data center performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate BMS for HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Configure and program BMS controllers and interfaces
• Develop and maintain BMS graphics, trends, and alarm management
• Troubleshoot BMS communication and control issues
• Integrate new equipment and systems into BMS platform
• Generate reports on system performance and energy consumption
• Maintain BMS software, databases, and backup systems
• Create and modify control sequences for optimization
• Coordinate with equipment vendors on BMS integration
• Document BMS configurations and changes
• Provide training on BMS operation to facility team
• Support energy management and sustainability initiatives through BMS analytics

Job Specification

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in BMS operation and programming
• Experience with major BMS platforms (Schneider, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell)
• Data center or critical facility experience preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in BMS programming and configuration
• Understanding of HVAC, electrical, and control systems
• Network and IT systems knowledge (TCP/IP, Modbus, BACnet)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and systematic approach
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot remotely

Certifications (Preferred):

• BMS platform-specific certifications (e.g., Schneider StruxureWare, JCI Metasys)
• BACnet or Modbus protocol certifications
• Network+ or equivalent IT certification

Language:

• Fluent in Thai; good English (technical reading/writing)
