Job Summary
The Full Stack Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains full-stack software platforms and applications that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, and support data-driven decision-making across Loenbro. This role partners closely with operations, IT, and business leaders to translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and practical software solutions that deliver measurable business value.
We’re looking for an engineer who has built and shipped full-stack production systems end-to-end — spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure. Experience building LLM-based or AI-powered applications is a strong bonus.
Essential Job Responsibilities
· Design, build, and maintain full-stack software applications and platforms — from frontend interfaces to backend services, APIs, and data layers — that improve business and operational performance.
· Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data integrations using modern frameworks and enterprise technologies, incorporating large language models (LLMs) or AI capabilities where they add clear business value.
· Architect and maintain integrations with core enterprise systems (ERP, HR, payroll) to support downstream platform and reporting initiatives.
· Contribute to evolving internal engineering processes for AI-assisted development that govern how AI coding agents are utilized for production systems.
· Create user-friendly interfaces, dashboards, and internal tools that enable adoption of new platforms and systems across technical and non-technical teams.
· Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI/LLM tooling, and contribute to Loenbro's long-term platform architecture, engineering standards, and technology roadmap.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
· 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, data science, or a related technical discipline working with modern frontend and backend technologies
· Demonstrated experience building and shipping full-stack production applications, including frontend UI (e.g., React or similar) and backend services/APIs (e.g., Node.js, Python or similar), across the full development lifecycle.
· Experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions using modern cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar); experience with LLM-based APIs or AI services is a plus.
· Strong working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar).
· Proficiency with modern engineering practices, including Git-based version control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred:
· Experience building and deploying LLM-based or AI-powered applications, agents, or agentic workflows in production.
· Experience with mobile app development, including React Native and Expo.
· Experience with enterprise data architecture or ERP.
· Knowledge of AI governance, data security, and responsible AI practices.
· Experience building software for construction, industrial field operations, finance or operationally complex, non-tech industry.
