Job Description

As a Security Officer Property Management Office in Valley Stream, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Your visible, professional presence will help support a secure and welcoming environment while communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor access to the location, issue and collect visitor credentials as applicable, and report unauthorized access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Receive incoming calls, manage deliveries and packages, maintain accurate desk records, and communicate relevant information to building management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
