CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily
Earn $72,000 annually while hauling intermodal freight within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This local position offers daily home time, automatic day-cab equipment, and a $10,000 bonus.
Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $72,000
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,450

- Approximately 900 miles per week

Job Details
- Operate within a 120-mile radius of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
- Deliver freight to and from the Haslet and Wylie rail yards.
- Start and finish each workday at the Haslet location.
- Average approximately four loads per day, with additional loads possible on drop-and-hook runs.
- Freight is handled using automatic day-cab tractors.
- Drivers slip seat and leave tractors parked at the Haslet rail location during time off.
- Passengers and pets are not permitted.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Friday–Tuesday
- Start times: Assigned during orientation; generally between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM
- Shift length: 10–12 hours
- Average weekly hours: 50–60
- Available shifts change as positions fill, so drivers must remain flexible.
- Training: Day 1 orientation from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Days 2–6 with a trainer on the trainer’s schedule.
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days after orientation
- Hazmat endorsement is not reimbursed; company training modules may be available
- Must be willing to work Friday–Tuesday and accept assigned start times
- No SAP drivers

- PTO increases to 22 days after 1 year, 27 days after 6 years, 30 days after 14 years, and 32 days after 19 years
- Six paid holidays at the applicable PTO rate for an 8-hour day
