Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Management in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Security Experience:

• Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be clearly outlined in the candidate's resume and discussed during the interview process.

Valid Driver's License:

• Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located (C124). Verification of the driver’s license will be conducted prior to the final hiring decision.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:

• Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

Customer Service Experience:

• Candidates must have prior customer service experience (B219). This experience should be highlighted in the candidate's application and further explored during the interview to assess their communication and interpersonal skills.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify access concerns and unusual activity.
• Assist with enforcing site traffic, delivery, and restricted-area protocols while maintaining a professional presence in an industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
