About the Role

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join a banking-sector project for a UK-based client.

This is a remote B2B contract role focused on the development, customization, integration, and ongoing improvement of Salesforce-based solutions. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable platform functionality.

The role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce development practices, platform configuration, integrations, testing, and release processes.

Suitable candidates can be based in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland and should be comfortable working in an international environment with UK stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and platform configuration.
• Design and implement scalable custom functionality within the Salesforce platform.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, permissions, and related platform features.
• Develop reusable and maintainable components aligned with Salesforce development best practices.
• Write and maintain automated tests for custom Salesforce functionality.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and platform-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Support deployment and release activities across Salesforce environments.
• Work with version control and CI/CD processes for Salesforce development.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering and development practices.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with security and governance requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Salesforce development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex.
• Practical experience developing Lightning Web Components.
• Good understanding of Salesforce platform configuration and customization.
• Experience working with Salesforce APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with SOQL and Salesforce data models.
• Understanding of Salesforce security, permissions, profiles, and access controls.
• Experience writing automated tests for Salesforce solutions.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment and release processes.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to work remotely from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working on Salesforce solutions in banking, financial services, or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tooling and automated deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DX and modern Salesforce development practices.
• Experience with complex integrations and enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.
• Knowledge of data migration and data-quality practices within Salesforce.
• Familiarity with platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Salesforce certifications relevant to development or platform architecture.
• Previous experience working with UK-based stakeholders or distributed international teams.

What We Offer
