Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deescalation in Pearland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, streets, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
