Job Profile Summary:
We are looking for a talented leader who is passionate about business impact, data, technology delivery and operational excellence. The role requires the ability to craft a product vision, translate business needs into technology outcomes, and drive execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The incumbent will work closely with various business stakeholders, Platform Owners, Scrum Master and Prudential Financial Advisers (PFA) Technology Squad to deliver scalable, customer-focused and well-governed digital capabilities for PFA.
Job Description:
- Lead the product vision, roadmap, prioritisation and delivery of PFA digital, data, automation and AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring alignment with business priorities and realisation of measurable business benefits.
- Plan, coordinate and drive technology deliverables for PFA, including project plans, dependencies, timelines, risks, scope, budget, quality expectations and management reporting.
- Act as the key liaison between PFA business stakeholders and Technology teams, ensuring clear requirements alignment, issue resolution, stakeholder communication and operational readiness.
- Identify, prioritise and assess AI-enabled, digital, data and automation use cases that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, decision support, productivity and business outcomes.
- Define business outcomes, success measures, acceptance criteria, adoption metrics and control requirements for digital and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Partner with business teams to translate user needs, process pain points and data insights into product requirements, user journeys, prioritised backlogs, SOPs and delivery documentation.
- Work closely with Technology teams on resource planning, sprint planning, backlog prioritisation and delivery execution using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Manage or guide cross-functional delivery teams, including Software Engineers, Business Analysts and relevant business/technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and responsible technology principles.
- Support vendor engagement, RFI/RFP activities and assessment of third-party platforms, AI solutions, data capabilities, automation tools and SaaS solutions where relevant.
- Act as product owner for PFA unique applications, such as PFA website, PRUEasy Quote etc.
- Provide monthly and quarterly management reporting and priotisation to key stakeholders.

- Ability to define, monitor and optimise adoption, usage, productivity, quality, risk, control and business outcome metrics for digital, operational and AI-enabled products.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, prioritisation and delivery tracking.
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for product discovery, requirements definition, backlog management, user story creation, research, planning and decision support.
- Familiarity with Singapore insurance operations, processes and systems would be advantageous.
Working Experience
- At least 8+ years of total experience, including experience in software product delivery, technology project execution or operations transformation.
- Prior experience in the Financial Advisory (FA) industry, especially with the Domestically Systemically Important Insurers would be an added advantage.
- Proven experience managing and delivering customer-centric software products, digital services or technology-enabled operational capabilities in complex environments.
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-company teams to deliver product experiences, technology projects and operational transformation initiatives.
- Experience developing and managing project plans, timelines, dependencies, issues, risks, scope, quality expectations and stakeholder reporting.
- Experience translating business problems into technology requirements, product backlogs, user journeys, acceptance criteria, SOPs, success metrics and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience supporting UAT, business readiness, change management, production support or operational embedding of technology deliverables.
- Experience working with digital platforms, data-driven products, automation, analytics, workflow transformation and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, generative AI, automation, analytics, decision engines or intelligent workflow capabilities is advantageous.
- Experience with vendor engagement, RFI/RFP processes and the assessment of third-party digital, AI, automation, analytics or SaaS solutions.
- In-depth understanding of insurance products, market dynamics, distribution processes, customer journeys, operations processes and regulatory considerations is advantageous.
- Prior knowledge of General Insurance, Unit Trust operations would be an added advantage.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, data science, business administration, management or a related field.
- MBA or other relevant postgraduate degrees will be an added advantage.
- Scrum, Agile Product Ownership, Digital Product Management, Data Analytics, AI Product Management or AI for Product Owners certification or learning exposure will be advantageous.
