Financial Analyst - 6 months contract

The Financial Analyst contributes to the analysis, planning, and monitoring of the company’s financial performance. They provide relevant analyses and recommendations that support decision-making while working closely with business partners and operational teams.

This role contributes to ABB Canada’s Electrification, Installation Products division and is based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

This is a temporary, 6-month, part-time position with 24 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results and prepare periodic management reports.
• Participate in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and profitability analyses.
• Perform analyses related to inventory activities, standard costs, and other expenses associated with the business unit.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and management tools.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and a strong sense of accountability.
• Initiative and a proactive approach.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability and ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
