Senior Marketing Communications Manager

About the role 

As our Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you play a key role in our mission to transform spaces into new favourite rooms with daylight and fresh air.

You will join a well-established, iconic brand on an exciting journey to grow its relevance in the Home Improvement category – bringing roof windows, sustainable technologies and inspiring designs closer to the people who live beneath them. 

Based in our Glenrothes office in Scotland, you will be part of our international Regional Marketing Communications team for North Europe, covering the GB&I, Nordics and DACH markets. You will execute the North Europe Marketing plan with a particular focus on the local GBI market, working hand-in-hand with the GB&I local marketing team, and reporting into the Head of Communications based in our Denmark office.

What awaits you 

• Brand activation towards B2C audiences across North Europe, with a strong focus on the GB market, executing the regional marketing plan end-to-end. 

• Campaign execution: media plans, creative briefs, strategic partnerships, and hands-on presence at shoots, case productions and creative shoots to ensure the work lands with impact. 

• Insights-led marketing: work closely with our global Insights team to leverage consumer, market and category insights effectively – translating data and trends into sharper briefs, stronger creative and better-performing campaigns. 

• Cross-functional collaboration with local market media, product, CXU, PR and Social Media teams to build integrated, high-performing campaigns. 

• Agency management: build strong working relationships with our external agency partners and manage them closely to deliver quality, on time and on budget. 

• In-house creative delivery: complementing agency work with in-house production – so proficiency with tools like Canva, plus strong proofreading & copywriting skills, are essential.  

• Budget ownership: managing budgets across multiple markets with transparency and rigour. 

• Thought leadership: acting as a senior voice in the team, sharing expertise and providing guidance and support to teammates (no direct line management). 

• Stakeholder navigation across a complex matrix of local, regional and global functions in a truly international context. 

• Insights and Best Practices: evaluating activities against relevant marketing KPIs, sharing learnings across markets and continuously raising the creative and strategic bar. 

What you bring 

• Professional experience: at least ten years of experience in marketing and communications, with a proven track record of delivering B2C campaigns and brand activation at scale. 

• Strategic & analytical skills: experience developing and executing marketing plans across multiple markets, comfortable working with insights and data to inform decisions and measuring impact through relevant KPIs. 

• Insights mindset: curious about consumers, markets and category trends – able to partner with a global Insights team and turn findings into actionable marketing decisions. 

• Creative eye: a sharp sense for creative work and attention to detail – someone who pushes for impact, challenges the brief and brings fresh thinking to the table. 

• Hands-on craft: proficiency with creative tools such as Canva, and excellent proofreading skills in English. 

• Communication: an outgoing, skilled communicator with strong presentation skills, comfortable voicing an opinion and influencing across seniority levels. 

• Ownership mindset: proactive, takes initiative, and can effectively problem-solve barriers and challenges to keep projects moving forward. 

• Collaboration in an international setting: a strong team player who thrives in cross-cultural, cross-functional environments and helps others move things forward. 

• Remote working excellence: you will be managed remotely, so we need someone who communicates openly and proactively, and who helps make that working relationship as transparent and effective as possible. 

• AI proficiency: comfortable leveraging AI tools to work smarter, manage time and free up space for higher-value creative and strategic work. 

• Language: fluent English; additional North European languages are a plus. 

• Location & travel: able to be based in our Glenrothes office an average of 3 days per week, and available to travel on average 2–3 days per month – primarily across the UK, Denmark and Germany.
