Key outcomes of the role
- Develop, implement and continuously optimise pricing strategies across products and services to maximise profitability and revenue growth
- Conduct pricing analysis for new product launches, promotions and lifecycle management, partnering closely with Product and Sales
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and industry benchmarks, identifying opportunities for price optimisation
- Analyse pricing elasticity and the impact of price changes on revenue, conversion, retention and churn
- Build and maintain pricing models, dashboards and forecasts using sales, cost and customer data
- Ensure accurate pricing implementation across CRM, CPQ, finance and reporting systems, maintaining pricing data integrity
- Own pricing governance frameworks, including discounting, promotions, exception handling and non‑standard commercial terms
- Perform margin and financial impact analysis, supporting forecasts, budgets and business planning
- Provide pricing guidance and deal support to Sales, including structuring complex and high‑value commercial agreements
- Define and manage list pricing, volume tiers, discount structures, segmented pricing and promotional frameworks
- Support packaging and bundling strategies across products and services
- Recommend data‑driven pricing changes to improve win rates, retention and margins
- Partner with sales leadership on negotiations, deal profitability reviews and approval processes
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve pricing intelligence through AI, automation and experimentation
- Design and analyse A/B tests and pricing pilots to assess impact on conversion, elasticity and retention
- Stay up to date with pricing best practices and continuously improve processes, tools and frameworks
About you
- Solid understanding of pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role
- Proven experience developing and evaluating pricing strategies, financial models and market analysis
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence tools such as Excel, SQL and Tableau (or equivalent)
- Experience partnering with Sales teams to support commercial decision‑making and deal structuring
- Strong understanding of core pricing levers, including discounting, bundling, segmentation and price elasticity
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
- High level of proficiency in statistical and data analysis tools
- Demonstrated problem‑solving ability with a strong attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
