Fixed-term – July to December 2026
Guaranteed 20 hours per week
Drive in/Drive out – great location – just outside of Taupō
No experience required – support and training provided
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our team on Achilles Dairy and play a key role in rearing our next generation dairy cattle.
You’ll be responsible for caring for young calves, feeding, weighing, drafting, drenching, and monitoring their health and welfare. You may also assist with milking and general farm duties when required.
This is a drive in/drive out role, so reliable transport is required.
This is a fixed term position from July to December 2026. We can guarantee 20 hours per week. At times there may be more available.
THE FARM
Achilles Dairy Unit is part of Pāmu Pastoral Complex, located 15 minutes from Taupō. This is an 840 effective ha block which will milk 2,150 cows through a 60-bail rotary shed.
ABOUT YOU
With a mix of roles available, we need some experience, and this is an opportunity for someone with no prior experience required, training is provided. If you’re someone who takes pride in doing the job right and has a real care for animals, loves working outdoors, then we want to hear from you.
You have an exceptional attitude to health and safety and animal welfare
You are physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
You hold a restricted or full driver’s license
