Business Development Manager, Land Belgium

For our office in Louvain la Neuve, Fugro Belgium is seeking an experienced, autonomous and motivated Business Development Manager to accelerate profitable growth for Fugro Land in Belgium by developing strategic client relationships, building a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into secured work. Lead the introduction and commercial growth of GroundIQ in the Belgian market.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Development
• Develop relationships with decision-makers across agreed target key accounts.
• Create and execute a clear strategy for each target account, including stakeholder mapping, client priorities and opportunity plans.
• Identify and shape opportunities early, aligning Fugro's capabilities with client needs before tenders are issued.
• Represent Fugro at relevant client and industry events.
Pipeline & Commercial Management
• Build, manage and convert a qualified pipeline of profitable opportunities.
• Lead win strategies, value propositions and commercial input into proposals and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, commercial forecasts and market intelligence.
GroundIQ Market Development
• Introduce GroundIQ to the Belgian market through targeted client engagement, workshops and demonstrations.
• Build and convert a dedicated GroundIQ opportunity pipeline, working closely with the central GroundIQ team and Belgian technical and operational teams.
Your profile
• Strong business-development or strategic-sales experience in infrastructure, energy, construction, geotechnical or related professional services.
• Established Belgian market network and the ability to build relationships at senior decision-maker level.
• Proven ability to develop opportunities from initial client engagement through to contract award.
• Strong commercial judgement, client presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into compelling client value propositions.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable bringing a new solution to market.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
