This position serves as a bridge between industry, economic development organizations, developers, brokers, municipalities, and ASU leadership, creating long-term partnerships that extend beyond real estate and into research and innovation initiatives.

The position supports the University’s strategic objectives by coordinating with internal departments, public-private partners, municipalities, consultants, and contractors to ensure private industry is aware of the co-location and collaboration opportunities available within ASU’s Innovation Zones.

Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States; ASU University Real Estate Development will not be a sponsor for this position.

Essential Duties:

  • In collaboration with ASU’s Office of Economic Development, develop and execute tenant attraction strategies for each of ASU Innovation Zones.

  • Target companies in sectors aligned with ASU's educational mission.
  • Lead prospect identification, outreach, qualification, and relationship management from initial contact through occupancy commitment.
  • Facilitate introductions between industry partners and relevant ASU stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with brokerage teams, developers, and leasing partners on marketing and business attraction initiatives.
  • Support site tours, prospect visits, presentations, and due diligence activities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a regulated, deadline-driven, and rapidly changing environment.

Working Environment:

  • Required to move moderate distances to perform work.
  • Regular use of standard office equipment, including, but not limited to computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone, and associated computer/technology peripherals.
