Financial Accountant | Media | Hybrid working | London | Up to £70,000 | JRSO35294
We are currently hiring for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a large international media business based in London, offering hybrid working, vibrant offices and loads of opportunity for onward progression. In this role you will support with financial reporting, compliance, audits, and balance sheet management while providing technical accounting expertise.
Key Duties in this position are:
- Provide technical accounting support and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to audit queries.
- Review and analyse balance sheet accounts, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
- Assist with transfer pricing processes and documentation.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- 1 year+ PQE
- Recent audit experience and strong understanding of financial controls.
- Good technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Experience working within media, advertising or technology sectors would be desirable
