Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Documentation in Plainfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control activities, and emergency response protocols at a food and beverage location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor access as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Support the protection of products, equipment, and facilities by reporting damaged barriers, unsecured doors, and other security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
